A recent study has revealed that the consumption of tea, coffee or plain water can provide protection against premature death in diabetes patients.

On the other hand, the risk of heart disease in diabetes patients increases by 25% and the risk of heart attack or death from heart disease increases by 29% due to the consumption of sugary drinks.

The study analyzed dietary data from more than 15,000 type 2 diabetes patients and observed the effects of 8 different beverages on health for 18 years.
