Another PTI leader comes on the radar of anti-corruption

Lahore: Usman Buzdar’s cabinet member and former member of Punjab Assembly, Amir Nawaz Chaudhry, has also come on the radar of anti-corruption. According to News, a case has been filed against PTI’s former MPA Amir Nawaz Chaudhry in the Anti-Corruption Department of Liaquatpur Police Station. The case has been registered on the charges of occupying government land and taking bribes in appointments.

The case has named seven people, including the officials of the Revenue Department and the Front Desk. The case states that the accused individuals took heavy bribes in appointments in the Education Department and Municipal Committee, causing damage to the national treasury. It should be noted that so far, more than 150 cases of various types have been registered against Chairman PTI Imran Khan, and many important leaders, including Ali Amin Gandapur and Shahbaz Gill, have also been arrested.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf attributes these cases to political victimization and holds the responsible PDM government accountable for it.
