Karachi: On the basis of a secret tip-off, the East District police carried out an operation and arrested a father-son duo involved in setting fire to other properties, including the Rangers checkpoint.

According to details, on May 9, through intelligence-based action, the East District police arrested a father-son duo who were involved in setting fire to other government properties, including the Rangers checkpoint, on Faisal Street.

The arrested suspects include Abdul Hamid and Huzefa, according to police officials. According to police officials, the arrested father-son duo live in Gulistan-e-Johar Block 13, and on May 9, they created chaos by blocking the road and encircling the area, instigated by miscreants.

The police officials also issued a video statement from the arrested suspect, in which the suspect stated that his name is Abdul Hamid, and on May 9, I set fire to the Rangers checkpoint on Faisal Street at the behest of the PTI leadership.
