Attempt to smuggle drugs in milk cartons from abroad foiled

Rawalpindi: Actions are being taken against the narcotics smuggled by ANF outside the country. Drugs concealed in milk cartons were seized and the passenger was taken into custody.

Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a suspect at Karachi airport who was traveling to Muscat, during a search of his bag, 1450 narcotic pills were found.

According to sources, 2 kilograms of ice was recovered from a parcel going from Islamabad GP to Bahrain, which was concealed in milk cartons.

In addition, 12 kilograms of heroin were seized from a truck near Gujarat GT Road Chenab Toll Plaza, and two suspects were arrested.

In another operation, ANF arrested a resident of Kallat by recovering 10 kilograms of opium from his car near Mastung Bypass.

ANF sources stated that 100 kilograms of hashish were recovered from an under-construction building near Turbat Dandak, and cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act.
