World number one tennis player Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Madrid Open tournament. The tournament organizers have expressed good wishes for his speedy recovery while announcing his withdrawal from the tour.
Just a month ago, Djokovic had to withdraw from the Madrid Open due to a shoulder injury, which occurred during the Monte Carlo Masters. Djokovic is a three-time champion at the Madrid Open, where he has a record of 30-9. Last year, he reached the semifinals of the Rome Masters, but lost in a third-set tiebreak to Carlos Alcaraz.
