Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that he was pleased to meet with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The Foreign Minister shared a picture of his meeting with his Russian counterpart on his Twitter account, along with details of the conversation that took place.
Bilawal Bhutto wrote that the meeting with the Russian counterpart was held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Foreign Ministers’ meeting and discussed mutual interests in regional and international affairs.
The Foreign Minister said that the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in food security and energy sectors, and both countries will work together to deepen the relationship between their peoples.
