“Funds not received for elections, Election Commission submits report to Supreme Court. Election Commission officials have submitted a report regarding funds for the provincial assembly elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the Supreme Court. According to ARY News, the report informed the court that funds were not received for the elections. The report was submitted to the Supreme Court after the Election Commission was ordered to do so by April 18th. Earlier, senior officials from the intelligence agencies gave a briefing on security to the three-member bench hearing the election case in the Chief Justice’s chamber.”
