Islamabad: The government has decided to abolish customs duty and additional customs duty on revenues from Turkey by 2033 and reduce duty on 133 items.

According to the details, the decision has been taken to abolish customs duty and additional customs duty on revenues from Turkey. Duty on glucose, glucose syrup, various flour powders, dog and cat food has been abolished.

FBAR has stated that discounts have been given on 133 items including Judge Drops, Karen Flex, Mosquito Spray, and Electric Oven. FBAR said that the additional customs duty on glucose and glucose syrup will be reduced to less than 5.83% and duty on various flour powders will be reduced to less than 16.67% and made zero.

According to FBAR, the reduction in customs duty and additional customs duty will come into effect from May 1, 2023, and the duty rates will gradually decrease until 2033.
