Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) (F) has decided not to participate in negotiations with PTI, and has started considering consulting the public in view of the political and judicial crisis.
According to details, under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rahman, a meeting of JI’s central executive council was held, in which JI decided not to participate in negotiations with PTI.
JI has started considering consulting the public in view of the political and judicial crisis and has recommended holding rallies, processions, and demonstrations across the country.
A spokesperson for JI (F) said that the meeting is still ongoing, and various proposals are being discussed. The decision to hold rallies and processions has not been made yet, but proposals are being considered.
The spokesperson also said that JI is not in favor of negotiations with PTI, and JI does not have any representation in the negotiations with PTI.
It should be noted that negotiations have been concluded between the government and the opposition, and negotiations will be held in the Senate at 6 pm today. According to sources, Prime Minister’s legal advisor Naeem Bukhari contacted Ali Zafar, PTI’s lawyer, and Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Ali Zafar, and Fawad Chaudhry are part of PTI’s negotiating team.
The ruling coalition’s name has yet to be announced, but JI (F) will not participate in the negotiations as it has decided not to participate in the negotiations.
