Karachi: DG Met Sardar Sarfraz rejected rumors related to rain on social media in Karachi and said that there will be moderate rainfall in the city and there is no fear of urban flooding.
According to the details, DG Met Sardar Sarfraz, while talking in the ARY News program Bakhabar Savera, said that there is no fear of urban flooding, there will be moderate rainfall.
Sardar Sarfraz said that the spell will start from tomorrow, thunder can occur with lightning at intervals, and heavy rain is possible for a short time at any time and place.
DG Met said that there is a spell of 3 to 4 days, it is not a monsoon, it is western winds, people have associated it with the monsoon, last year’s monsoon is not there.
Heavy rain is possible in upper Sindh, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Jacobabad, Jamshoro and Khairpur Shahdadkot, while light rain is expected in Balochistan. DG Met said that heavy rain is possible in Sukkur, Dadu, Jacobabad, Jamshoro, and Khairpur Shahdadkot, while heavy rain is also expected in Balochistan.
Remember, according to the statement issued by the Meteorological Department, it has been said that the system can affect from the night of April 28 in Karachi, which will bring rain with thunder and lightning throughout Sindh, and after the rain, the intensity of the heat will decrease.
The Meteorological Department said that the series of rain will continue from April 28 to May 1, but urban flooding is currently not expected in Karachi.
