Senior actress Faryal Gohar has revealed the reason for entering the showbiz industry. She participated in ARY Digital’s program ‘Shan-e-Sehur’ along with Bushra Ansari and answered various questions asked by host Nida Yasir.
Nida Yasir asked, “Many people often ask you why you entered acting when you didn’t make much money at that time?”
Faryal Gohar replied, “I came into the industry for the first time as a hand model for Madhia in a PTV drama. Madhia’s hand and my hand were featured in the drama and my hand was shot instead of hers.”
She said, “I don’t remember much about that drama because I didn’t have any dialogues and it didn’t matter to me. It was just my hand that was important.” The actress further added that when Madhia was working in 1970, good family girls did not come into the industry, but now educated boys and girls are coming into the industry.
Faryal Gohar revealed that “I did not become part of the industry in this way. Do you still believe that girls are told that they are free and can do shooting at night?”
