Peshawar: A 2-member Fact Finding Committee has been formed for investigating the blast in the police station of Kabal district in Swat. The committee will present its investigative report.
According to the details, a 2-member Fact Finding Committee has been formed for investigating the blast in the police station of CT Dera in Kabal district of Swat, and a notification has been issued.
The notification stated that the Secretary Interior KP and Additional IG Special Branch are part of the committee.
The two-member committee has been directed to submit a comprehensive report on the blast. The Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has instructed that a comprehensive report be prepared and presented.
A search and rescue operation is underway at the site of the blast in the CT Dera police station, which is being carried out by the Rescue 1122 team. According to hospital reports, 17 people have been martyred and 51 injured.
The injured have been shifted to the Kabal and Saidu Sharif hospitals, while those with severe injuries have been transferred to the Peshawar burn center. More than 100 personnel and heavy machinery are participating in the rescue operation, which will continue until the clearance of debris.
It should be noted that as a result of consecutive blasts in the CT Dera police station of Kabal district in Swat, more than a dozen people have lost their lives and 80 have been injured. Initial investigations have not found any evidence of terrorism. The police and officials have stated that the blast occurred in an old building of the CT Dera police station, where weapons and ammunition were stored.
