Former Minister of PTI, Jassmani Raimand, handed over to the police.

The Anti-Terrorism Court has arrested former provincial minister Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed and placed him under two days of physical remand in connection with the protest and rioting case.

The police presented Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed in the Anti-Terrorism Court and requested his physical remand.

The court granted a two-day physical remand and directed the police to present Mahmoodur Rasheed in court again on 18th May. The court also requested a report on the investigation for the next hearing.

The police took the stance that Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed is involved in the attack on Jinnah House and that his firing caused injuries to people. A video of the rioting outside Jinnah House was also shown in court.

Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed stated that he was present at the checkpoint of the Corps Commander House but due to the chaos, he could not proceed further and returned.
