Good news for Google Maps users, as a better version of the Immersive View feature has been introduced.
Google has named it “Immersive View for Routes”, which was announced at the company’s annual developer conference.
This feature will make it easier for users to understand the path to their desired destination. Any route can be viewed from a bird’s eye view, allowing users to better understand famous locations or buildings around them.
This feature will change the experience of using Google Maps for New Yorkers, but users will have to wait for it. This feature will first be introduced for Google Maps mobile apps.
Google will also provide traffic details so that people can travel accordingly, and this feature can be used while walking, driving, or cycling.
It is essentially based on the Immersive View feature introduced in Google Maps last year, but instead of specific locations, it will be possible to take a 3D tour of the entire city.
