The written details of the inactive planes were presented by the Aviation Division.
According to the written response, it has been mentioned that 8 aircraft of PIA are grounded. Out of the national airline’s grounded planes, 7 are capable of being repaired, while one is completely inactive.
It was stated that 3 Boeing 777s, 2 Airbus planes, and 3 ATR planes have been grounded. Two Boeing 777s of PIA are on the ground due to not being in service.
In addition, 2 Airbus A320s and 3 ATRs in the fleet are also not usable due to not being in service. One Boeing 777 aircraft of PIA is also not operational.
