Karachi: The Health Department and the Sindh government have made an important announcement regarding COVID-19 on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The government has appealed to the public to follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization to stay safe from COVID-19 during the Eid holidays.
Citizens have been directed to maintain social distancing, use masks as before, use masks in crowded places, and wash their hands thoroughly with soap.
If citizens have difficulty in coughing, cold, or breathing, they should get a COVID-19 test at a nearby health center. Those who have received the COVID-19 vaccine 6 months to 1 year ago should also receive a booster vaccine.
Elderly people and those whose immune systems have weakened due to other diseases should also receive a booster vaccine.
