On Tuesday, Imran Khan, the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party and former Prime Minister, said that there is an 80 percent chance that if he goes to Islamabad on Tuesday, he will be arrested.
In an interview with an American news agency, he expressed strong concerns that it is possible that when he goes to court on Tuesday to seek bail, he may be arrested by the Islamabad police.
Currently, the rule of law is not prevailing, and more than 10,000 employees, including women and senior leaders, are under surveillance in various jails across the country. Everything is being done only to eliminate our democracy.
Regarding a question about the end of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, he said that the person responsible for ending my government is Qamar Bajwa. I still don’t understand what issue Bajwa had with me that he ended the PTI government.
In response to another question, he said that there were attempts on my life and an assassination attempt was made because the PTI had lost multiple by-elections, and the PTI was becoming more popular. That’s why I knew my life was in danger, and I had to openly talk about it.
