Japan’s Red Diamonds football club has become Asian champions for the third time, winning the Asian Champions League title. In the final, they defeated defensive champions Saudi club Al-Hilal 1-0 and claimed the trophy. Andrey Kereylo’s goal was the reason for Al-Hilal’s failure. The winning team’s players celebrated with the trophy. Previously, the Japanese club had won the title in 2007 and 2017. Red Diamonds coach Makiguchi said, “Today we are very happy to win the trophy for the great teammates after months of hard work. This is a great honor for me and it’s difficult to express how astonishing this win is.”
