Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders have established contact regarding the upcoming local government elections, and have devised a joint action plan to prevent the theft of election results.
During a telephone conversation between Karachi Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman and PTI leader Aftab Siddiqui, both leaders agreed that the election results will not be allowed to be stolen this time, and both parties have agreed to keep a close eye on the election results after polling.
According to sources, both parties have prepared a joint action plan regarding the election results, under which both parties’ workers will ensure complete vigilance during and after polling to prevent any irregularities.

Under the joint action plan, workers will jointly monitor the election results by remaining present in the RO offices, and the leaders have said that they will not allow any attempts to steal the election results like in January.
