A 5-member bench led by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi of Lahore High Court issued a 2-page written order, stating that according to the government lawyer, as of today, there are 9 cases pending against Imran Khan in Punjab.
The report stated that an investigation is underway in 7 cases against Imran Khan, one case against him has been dismissed, and he has been declared innocent in the second case.
The written order stated that, according to the associate lawyer, Imran Khan’s lawyers are busy in the Islamabad High Court, so a hearing will be held on these requests on May 26 at 9:30 am.
It should be noted that former Prime Minister has referred to the High Court to stop proceedings in 121 cases against Imran Khan.
