Swat: Local individuals establish their own court, brutal violence against a student
In Swat, local people have established their own court and subjected a student to brutal violence over a minor matter, according to ARY News.
The tragic incident took place in the Gat Shor area of Matta, where four people got together and made the student a target of the worst violence.
The accused picked up the student on his way back from school, took him into custody, and subjected him to brutal violence with sticks. After the incident, local people protested, prompting the Swat DIG to take notice.
DIG Nasir Mahmood Satti arrested all four accused on his notice and registered a case against them.
The DIG stated that legal action will be taken against the accused, and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands.
