Islamabad: During a meeting between Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, matters of mutual interest including Pak-China relations and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were discussed.
According to details, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived at the Pakistani Foreign Office where he was welcomed by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar was also present on the occasion.
Afterwards, a meeting was held between the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and China, during which matters of mutual interest including Pak-China relations and the CPEC were discussed.
Yesterday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in Pakistan and will participate in the fourth round of the China-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue. Bilawal Bhutto and Wang Yi will lead the talks.
During the talks, strategic cooperation between Pakistan and China will be reaffirmed, and exchange of views on the Road Map for regional and global cooperation will be discussed. After the talks, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto will host a luncheon in honor of his Chinese counterpart.
In addition, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will also participate in trilateral talks with the Foreign Ministers of Pakistan, China, and Afghanistan. The strategic talks were held in Chengdu, China in July 2021.
It should be noted that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had attended the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) held in the Indian city of Goa.
During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto had met with various foreign ministers of countries including China.
