Mohammad Aamir has come out in support of Shadab Khan. Shadab Khan has recently faced criticism for his dip in form in his bowling performances in the bowling form as well as dropping the catch of Mark Chapman in the T20 match against New Zealand.
The dropped catch by Chapman proved costly in a crucial match, as the Kiwi batsman took full advantage of the opportunity to secure a series tie of 2-2 with a stunning century.
In response to the criticism, former Pakistani teammate of Shadab, Mohammad Aamir, came out in support of him. He admitted that every player goes through highs and lows in their career. Mohammad Aamir shared a video on Twitter praising Shadab’s best performances, and called him Pakistan’s best white-ball cricketer, while former captain Shahid Afridi also spoke in support of Shadab’s efforts to improve his performance against left-handed batsmen. He emphasized that the young all-rounder should prioritize improving his bowling skills over batting.
