Multan: 2 young men killed in police firing, one injured, culprit escaped

Multan: An employee opened fire on motorcyclists who did not stop at the signal given by the police, resulting in the death of 2 young men.

According to details, both young men who died had eaten at a hotel and were going home. The police signaled them to stop but they did not, upon which the police opened fire. After firing, the culprit fled.

The bereaved family informed that deceased Osman was a student of the 9th class and belonged to Jamaat-e-Islami, while deceased Sameeullah was 19 years old. Sources say that the young men who died had no criminal record.

According to the police, the incident of firing occurred at one o’clock at night in Shah Rukn Alam Colony. The injured youth has been shifted to Nishtar Hospital where he is in critical condition while one young man is injured.

As per the Multan police, a case has been registered against the responsible police officers on the claim of Osman’s father for the murder of 2 young men.
