New Zealand has leveled the T20 series 2-2 with a victory over Pakistan in the fifth and final T20 match played between the two teams. Pakistan had set a big target of 194 runs while batting first in the match played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which New Zealand chased down in the last over, winning by six wickets.
Mark Chapman scored the most runs for New Zealand with 104, while Jimmy Neesham also scored an aggressive 45 runs. On the other hand, while bowling, Shahin Afridi and Imad Wasim took 2-2 wickets for the national team, but they were unsuccessful in defending their big target.
In the first half of the match, Mohammad Rizwan played a brilliant innings, scoring 98 runs, while Fakhar Zaman scored 36 and Imad Wasim scored 31 runs. During this time, New Zealand’s bowler, Tickner, took three wickets.
Two changes were made to the national team for the match, with Mohammad Haris and Ehsanullah coming in for Fakhar Zaman and Zaman Khan, while for the rival team, Henry Shipley was included in the team in place of Matt Henry and Neesham replaced Mitchell Santner.
