Newest security system activated at Multan International Airport

Karachi: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has stated that the latest facial recognition system has been activated at Multan International Airport, which will help prevent illegal international transfers and movements.

According to details, the latest facial recognition system has been activated at Multan International Airport. After Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad airports, this system has now been implemented at Multan Airport as well.

To operate the system, the Japan International Cooperation System provided training to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) officials.

The new system will prove extremely beneficial for border management agencies, as border management agencies will be able to prevent illegal international transfers and movements with the help of this system.
