It should be noted that clashes between Palestinians and Israeli police have been going on in the premises of Masjid al-Aqsa since last Friday, in which more than 170 people have been injured and most of them are Palestinians.
During the holy month of Ramadan last year, similar incidents of violence took place in Al-Aqsa Mosque and Occupied Jerusalem, which led to the Israeli-imposed war in Gaza.
Israeli police forces stormed the mosque on Monday after two days of clashes with Palestinians.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said yesterday that its staff had provided medical assistance to 19 people injured in the clashes and that five of them had been taken to hospital.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 25 Palestinians have been killed in such Israeli attacks since March 22.
