The Minister of Religious Affairs said that after the arrival of the vaccine, he hoped that the Hajj would be performed as usual.
According to details, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri while talking in a private TV program said that they are waiting for a clear response from Saudi Arabia about Hajj 2021. He hoped that Hajj payment would be as usual after the arrival of vaccine.
He said that Saudi Arabia was still not accepting applications from pilgrims for Hajj and hoped that the situation would improve in the next five months.
The Federal Minister said that no clear orders have been issued by the Saudi authorities regarding Hajj and so far no memorandum of understanding has been signed with Pakistan regarding Hajj.
“We know people are worried about the possibility of a Hajj this year, and we are in constant contact with Saudi officials,” he said.
It should be noted that corona vaccine has been made mandatory for pilgrims this year.
About 200,000 people from Pakistan will be able to perform Hajj this year. Corona vaccine is a must for Hajj pilgrims.
Vaccination centers will be set up in major cities to vaccinate pilgrims, where they will be vaccinated against other diseases, including coronavirus.
