As the firm progresses toward accepting digital assets as payment, Amazon.com, Inc. is looking for a cryptocurrency expert to handle its digital currency and blockchain strategy.

According to the job description, “you will use your domain expertise in Blockchain, Distributed Ledger, Central Bank Digital Currencies, and Cryptocurrency to develop the case for the capabilities that should be developed, drive overall vision and product strategy, and gain leadership buy-in and investment for new capabilities.” “You will collaborate closely with Amazon organisations, particularly [Amazon Web Services], to define the roadmap, which will include the customer experience.”technical strategy and capabilities as well as the launch strategy.”

According to the job posting, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in product management or marketing, business development, or marketing. They must also have a thorough understanding of the bitcoin “ecosystem.”

The job posting was originally seen by Business Insider, which also received confirmation from Amazon that the e-commerce giant is working to take bitcoin payments “as soon as possible.”
