Former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds has died in a car accident.
Former Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds, 46, was killed in a car crash near Townsville on Friday, police said.
It should be noted that Symonds was a part of the two-time world champion squad.
According to Australian media, Andrew Symonds’ family also confirmed the incident, thanked the sympathizers and asked for respect for privacy.
Former Pakistan cricket team fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar, while expressing his condolences on the death of Andrew Symonds, said that he was shocked to hear of the death of Symonds in the accident.
Symonds, a two-time Australian World Champion, played 198 ODIs, 26 Tests and 14 T20 Internationals.
Andrew Symonds is the second most famous Australian player to die this year after Shane Warren.
