Pakistan Super League (PSL) match-fixing case: Three accused granted bail
According to details, the Sindh High Court has granted bail to three accused belonging to an international group in a match-fixing and money laundering case in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.
The court ordered the release on bail of three accused belonging to an international group in a match-fixing and money laundering case in PSL 2020.
The court has ordered the three accused to submit a bond of Rs 5.5 lakh.
The court further said in its order that if the accused misused the bail, the trial court could cancel the bail of the accused. The lower court disposed of the case within three months.
It should be noted that 13 accused including Faisal alias Chatta have been charged in the PSL match-fixing case.
Dubai and international gangs had planned to discredit Pakistan. In PSL 2020, the gangsters also approached a cricketer.
The FIA arrested the suspects and recovered mobile phones and important evidence from their possession.
