Drug supply gang has been arrested by the Police who supplied drugs to Dr Maha Ali, who committed suicide by shooting himself in Defense.
According to details, Investigation Police South has arrested four accused who were supplying drugs to Dr Maha Ali, who committed suicide by shooting himself in Defense area of Karachi.
SSP Investigation South Bashir Brohi said in a statement that during the investigation of the case, the investigation into the persons who had contacts with Dr Maha Ali started and a few hours before the incident, the accused Saad, who was supplying cocaine to him, was arrested. Later, other accused of Saadullah were also arrested.
Bashir Brohi also said that drugs were also recovered from the possession of Saadullah, Mohammad Owais, Syed Jamaat alias Nasir and Mohammad Bilal, including 42 boxes of cocaine, ice, hashish and a motorcycle.
SSP Investigation South Bashir Brohi added that the arrested accused were involved in online supply of drugs in Karachi while the order was placed on a social media website after which it could be placed at any place in the posh area of the city within half an hour. The required item is delivered and the delivery person receives the payment.
Arrested accused Saadullah revealed during interrogation that Rs 13,000 to Rs 15,000 was charged for delivery of one gram of cocaine.
It is to be noted that the incident was declared suicide by the police. According to police sources, Dr Maha Ali has committed suicide as he was fed up with the violence of his friend Junaid.
