Human Trafficking Case Registered Against Mir Shakeel-Ur-Rehman

A case of human trafficking has been registered against Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman, owner of Geo and Jang Group.

According to details, a case has been registered against Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman for human trafficking and misconduct against Yahya’s family by a Pakistani housemaid in the United States.

When asked about the situation during the interview, the woman said that her sister was hired by Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman for household chores, but the Yahya family mistreated her from day one.

The woman said she cooked, cleaned and cared for the three children, but in those five years she received only 25 25,000.

The woman added in her interview that she was also threatened by the guardian family.

However, following the advice of an Urdu-speaking woman, she ran away from her family on December 7, 2018, and contacted an NGO that helps illegal immigrants who are victims of violence.

An attempt was made to contact Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman and his wife in this regard but no reply was received from them. However, the lawyer of Yahya family has denied the allegations.

It may be recalled that the woman’s name is Rehana Bibi who was offered a job in the United States in 2013 by Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman.
