Federal Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain called on the Special Representative of the Prime Minister for Religious Harmony and Middle East Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi.
According to details, measures to maintain law and order in the country during Muharram and implementation of the message Pakistan Code of Conduct were discussed during the meeting.
Fawad Chaudhry said that the announcement of the implementation of the Message Pakistan Code of Conduct across the country is welcome while the government is taking all possible steps to maintain law and order in the country during Muharram.
He said that the role of the Pakistan Ulema Council and Muttahida Ulema Board in promoting religious harmony and brotherhood in the country is commendable. Islam is a religion of security, peace, tolerance, tolerance and non-violence.
Fawad Chaudhry said that sectarian hatred, armed sectarian conflict and the use of force cannot impose their views on others while some elements are playing into the hands of anti-national forces to fan sectarianism in the country. ۔
On the other hand, Tahir Mohammad Ashrafi says that the use of force in the name of enforcing Shariah, armed confrontation against the state, sabotage and corruption and all forms of terrorism are forbidden by Shariah, while scholars and shaykhs and muftis of all sects Pakistan rejects extremist thinking and extremism.
Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that law and order would be maintained during Muharram.
