It Is An Honor For Me To Sing The Anthem For The OIC Summit, Ali Zafar

Ali Zafar, a prominent singer, model and actor in the Pakistan showbiz industry, says it is an honor for him to sing the anthem for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit.

Reacting to the tweet of Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Ali Zafar said that what could be a greater honor for any artist than to have his voice become the voice of such a happy day and purpose.

Ali Zafar further wrote that of course he is very merciful and compassionate. Let us all come together as a message of peace for this day and purpose and pray for the survival and security of all humanity.

It should be noted that Ali Zafar’s anthem “Allahu Akbar” was recently launched at the government level.

Launched before the 48th Foreign Ministers’ Conference,  Allahu Akbar  is a remake of the anthem launched on the occasion of the 1974 OIC Summit.

The song, composed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, was sung by Ali Zafar, while the anthem, released in 1974, was sung by singer Mehdi Zaheer.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry announced on Saturday that the official anthem of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) would be re-launched today. The launching ceremony of the anthem took place with recitation from the Holy Quran.

Addressing the unveiling ceremony, Fawad Chaudhry said that it was being launched on the occasion of the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM).

Addressing the ceremony, he said, “The theme of the hymn is to hold fast to the rope of Allah and do not fall into disunity.”

He said that modern technology has developed a lot in the world and full assistance has been taken from modern technology in the preparation of anthems. This song is written by Jamiluddin Ali.

Addressing the launching ceremony of the official anthem of the OIC Foreign Ministers Council, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the old anthem has been highlighted in the new anthem.
