The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has launched a portal for opening companies’ accounts in banks.
According to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), banks will not have to require companies to provide regulatory documents.
Online verification of company documents will be possible through the portal. The portal will contain data of private limited companies, public limited and non-profit organizations.
Banks will be able to open uninterrupted corporate accounts by verifying the records of companies through the portal.
