Senior actor of Pakistan film industry Ejaz Durrani has passed away.
Ejaz Durrani, a senior actor in Pakistan’s film industry, has died at the age of 88 after a long illness.
Ejaz Durrani opened his eyes in the village near Jalalpur Jattan in 1935 and appeared on the screen for the first time as a supporting actor in the film Hamida in 1950.
He also acted as a side hero in the Urdu film ‘Mirza Sahib’ while the film ‘Bada Aadmi’ was his first film as a hero in 1917.
Along with acting, Ejaz has also shown his talent in the field of filmmaking, while superhit masterpieces like Dosti, Heer Ranjha and Sholay are to his credit as filmmakers.
Ejaz Durrani had his first marriage with Queen Tarun Noor Jahan and his second marriage with Firdous but both marriages ended in divorce.
