PCB Decides To Take Tough Stand Against New Zealand Cricket

The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to take a firm stand against New Zealand cricket, saying that New Zealand Cricket did not share any information about security threats with the PCB.

According to details, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) stands by its statement that New Zealand has taken a unilateral decision.

According to sources, Pakistan intends to lobby before the meeting of the International Cricket Council, influential players and commentators from around the world will be contacted and support will be sought, in the second phase, cricket boards will be contacted.

It should be noted that ICC board meetings will be held during the T20 World Cup.

It is to be noted that the New Zealand Cricket Board had informed the PCB that they have been alerted regarding security and therefore decided to postpone the series unilaterally.

The Pakistan Cricket Board and the Government of Pakistan had made foolproof arrangements for the security of the visiting team, to which the New Zealand team officials expressed satisfaction.
