QS, the world’s most prestigious university ranking agency, has released a new world ranking.
According to the details, Punjab University has achieved great success in the world rankings released after which Punjab University has been counted among the best 62% universities in the world.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed said that Punjab University is among the best 801 universities in the world while Punjab University was among the best 78% universities in the world in 2018.
In a short span of three years, the ranking of Punjab University has improved by 16% while in the last two years, the Asian ranking of Punjab University has improved by 39 degrees.
According to Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmed, for the first time in the history of Punjab University, 13 subjects have been included in the world rankings while the Department of Petroleum Engineering of Punjab University is among the top 100 institutions in the world.
The ranking has improved due to the joint efforts of teachers, staff and students of Punjab University.
It should be noted that Dr. Niaz Ahmed has congratulated Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Chairman Ranking Committee, on the improvement in ranking.
