Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that he thinks that the United Nations should immediately take notice of the hate speech against Islam.
According to details, regarding blasphemous boxes, Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi in an important statement said that blasphemous sketches cause grief and anger all over the world.
The Foreign Minister said that hate speech was on the rise while the irresponsible statements of the French President had added fuel to the fire.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that no one has the right to hurt the hearts of millions of Muslims around the world under the guise of freedom of expression, this is not the first time, some time ago Charlie Hebdo published blasphemous sketches which Every Pakistani protested and condemned in strong words.
The Foreign Minister said that the Prime Minister had raised his voice against hate speech and Islamophobia at the UN General Assembly this year.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has also demanded from Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg that just as you do not publish Holocaust-based material, you should also stop publishing blasphemous material against Islam.
