Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that there is grief and anger in the Muslim world over the blasphemous sketches.
Talking to media in Multan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that a resolution has been passed on the issue of blasphemous sketches.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the government of Pakistan was aware of the sentiments of the people and was expressing its views.
On the terrorist incidents in Quetta and Peshawar, he said that there were some forces which did not want to see peace in Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister said that the federal government has directed the provincial government to take precautionary measures against the wave of terrorism. The nation has already defeated terrorism and will continue to defeat it.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that there is no doubt that terrorists are facilitators. What is happening in Pakistan is not possible without facilitators.
Talking about inflation, he said that inflation is indeed there and steps are being taken to control it. Wheat is being imported, which will make up for the shortfall. It has been decided to increase the quota for flour mills.
The Foreign Minister said that steps were being taken in Sindh to control the prices of flour. Steps are also being taken to control sugar prices.
