According to, the Islamabad High Court has issued an order to release Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Aijaz Chaudhry, who was arrested under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) for a Third Schedule offense.
In the Islamabad High Court, the request against the arrest of PTI Senator Aijaz Chaudhry under the ATA was heard. Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb presided over the hearing while the petitioner’s lawyer, Advocate Taimoor Malik, appeared in court.
After the hearing, the court declared the arrest of Senator Aijaz Chaudhry under the Third Schedule of the ATA as void and ordered his release.
