According to details, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has reached Peshawar. During the Peshawar tour, Shahbaz Sharif will visit Radio Pakistan, where he will be briefed on the damage and restoration work of the Radio Pakistan building.
The Prime Minister will also visit the Governor House, where he will be briefed on security and peace matters. Additionally, the political leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also meet the Prime Minister.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing the Azmat-e-Shuhada Convention, had said that on May 9, a red line was crossed in the country. The responsible ones will not be given amnesty, and the guilty will not be spared.
Shahbaz Sharif stated that Imran Khan has trained his workers in malice. They will be held accountable under the law, and I will not tolerate any wrongdoing.
He further stated that they will not allow any disrespect to the martyrs. The survival of Pakistan is due to the sacrifices of the martyrs. The martyrs left their children as orphans, but we have saved our children from becoming orphans.
It should be remembered that on May 10, after the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan from the Islamabad High Court, violent protests and arson attacks took place in various cities of the country. During this period, several public and government buildings, including military properties and memorials of the martyrs, were also damaged.
The miscreants attacked the Radio Pakistan building and set fire to a five-story building. Director-General Tahir Hassan said that miscreants suddenly launched an attack in large numbers. They broke the gate of Radio Pakistan Peshawar and entered inside, causing destruction in the newsroom and various sections.
