Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has decided to seek a vote of confidence from the National Assembly today.

According to details, the Prime Minister held a parliamentary party meeting in honor of the members of parliament, which was attended by more than 176 members of the Muslim League-N and the allied MQM.

It should be noted that in the case related to the elections, a three-member bench of the Supreme Court had expressed concern about the lack of majority with the Prime Minister, and for the vote of confidence, the Prime Minister needs a simple majority of 172 members. The vote of confidence will be taken through open voting.
