Protest by Polling Agents in New Karachi Town Polling Station over Closed Ballot Box

Polling agents in the New Karachi Town polling station have started protesting after the ballot box was closed earlier, causing discontent.

According to reports, polling has started for the local government elections in 24 districts of Sindh, including Karachi. However, an incident of bitter exchanges between polling staff and agents has occurred in UC-13 New Karachi Town New Rasheedabad.

Election officials closed the ballot box before 8:00 AM, prompting female polling agents of political parties to protest against the closure without showing them the ballot box. During this time, there was intense bitterness between the polling staff and the agents.

The agents were upset about not being shown the ballot box, and the situation outside the polling station became tense. Workers from political parties gathered outside the polling station in large numbers.
