Saudi Arabia exceeds 4,000 tons of annual papaya production

Saudi Arabia takes responsibility for another successful fruit cultivation; the annual production of papaya in the country has exceeded 4,000 tons.

According to Urdu News, the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture reported that there has been significant improvement in the cultivation of papaya in Saudi Arabia, and the annual production of papaya has surpassed 4,000 tons.

The Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture also stated that Saudi Arabia has taken responsibility for up to 95% of the papaya cultivation.

The papaya season in the country runs from May to August, and the cultivation of papaya in the Eastern Region and Jazan Commission, Abha, Sabia, and Thamad is being carried out in the best possible way.

At present, the cultivation of various types of papayas in the Eastern Region and Jazan area is being carried out successfully, and there is significant demand for them in the local market.
