The news about cattle market robberies in Maweshi Mandi has come to light. Karachi police

have raised concerns about the insecurity of the route near Northern Bypass of Maweshi Mandi.

According to SSP West, no incidents of looting have been reported in the cattle market so far. More than 250 additional security personnel have also been requested.

SSP West Faisal Bashir stated that a temporary control room will be set up for addressing the complaints of citizens in the market.

ASI Muhammad Ali Pirzada mentioned that the police are stationed on the streets of the market from 8 am to 8 pm, and night shift personnel replace them at the same location. Daily search operations are being conducted for individuals involved in daily commuting. Thankfully, no unpleasant incidents have occurred yet.

It should be noted that there were reports suggesting incidents of robbery on the routes leading to the market, where citizens were being deprived of their valuables, mobile phones, and cash. The police have expressed doubts regarding the news of kidnapping and robbery.
