Quetta: Security forces have achieved a major success in Balochistan. According to details, an operation was carried out on 11th and 13th May in the Jhat Bazaar Hoshab area of northern Balochistan, which was successful. During the operation, an important leader of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Aslam alias Wafa, was killed. Aslam alias Wafa was among the six terrorists who were killed by security forces during the attack on the Hoshab check post. The security forces had foiled the terrorists’ attack.
According to sources, Aslam alias Wafa was involved in attacks on security forces and civilians, as well as extortion, murder, and looting. In April 2019, terrorists had attacked a bus full of passengers at Buzi Top, and in October 2019, they had blown up several other vehicles at Buzi Top, creating chaos.
In addition, in June 2011, terrorists had attacked security forces at their post in Hoshab, and in May 2021, Aslam alias Wafa had planned an attack on security forces at Hoshab.
According to the ISI, this operation was carried out to track down some terrorists who had escaped from the area.
According to the ISI PR, security forces will not allow peace and development in Balochistan to be compromised and will continue to fight the enemy with the cooperation of the people.
