There has been no case reported in Karachi regarding the Mink variant, according to the Health Minister of Sindh.

The Health Minister of Sindh, Dr. Azra Pechuho, stated that no case related to the Mink variant has been reported in Karachi, and there is no authenticity to the news regarding a passenger carrying the Mink variant at the Karachi airport.

Dr. Azra Pechuho further stated that the airport authorities do not have the authority to issue any information without verification regarding this matter, and the health department is monitoring the situation closely.

Isolation wards have been established at Jinnah Hospital and Chandka Medical Hospital, and a separate isolation ward comprising of 20 beds has been set up in Karachi.

It is advised to refrain from providing unverified information regarding the Mink variant, as there has been no reported case in the province of Sindh.
