Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that thousands of prisoners can be immediately released for justice, and how many summary notes were taken for them.
According to details, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Kot Lakhpat Jail and distributed gifts among the prisoners after meeting with them. The Prime Minister visited different parts of the jail. The jail superintendent briefed the Prime Minister.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that he visited the jail and met with male and female prisoners. There are 8,000 prisoners in 2 jails in Lahore, and a special hospital is being established for these prisoners.
He said that how many summary notes were taken for justice for the prisoners, where there is a benefit, there should be a summary note, nothing else. Medicines should be made easily available to sick prisoners in jail.
The Prime Minister said that we will soon take the country out of crises and we should come together for the betterment of the country.”
